Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Taea moved to Santa Barbara, CA to attend Brooks Institute of Photography. Upon graduating, she was hired as a photographer's assistant to famed fashion photographer Michael Thompson in NYC. She spent the next nine years assisting the world's best fashion photographers, until she launched out on her own.
